Oh wow, summer has come to an end as we enter into Autumn preparing ourselves for the cooler months. Are you one of those that live for the Summer months? The endless search for the perfect beach or putting on your party pants and attending all the festivals in and around Victoria. I would love to say I am one of them but I am a Winter baby through and through but don’t get me wrong I do love chasing sunsets all over Victoria or just appreciating the fact that I don’t need to take a jumper just in case it will get cold.
Summer might be officially December to February but Summer in my eyes is when it is hot enough to wear shorts and a tee.

Yeah there are a lot of things I wish I did but I feel I managed to do a lot especially when I felt life was all over the place and didn’t know what I wanted most of the time. In those moments I decided to be spontaneous and get out of the house and just figure it out along the way- I think that is what saved me TBH.

Over the last Summer I have learnt:
Focusing on me is a good thing,
Not everything is as it appears,
You can’t trust everybody,
The world doesn’t stop when life feels like you have hit a wall,
Friends and family are always there to support you,
Excuses don’t get you anywhere,
It takes more than words to make a change,
Always expecting the worse was actually stopping me,
To love me and to not change for others,
Appreciate the small things in life,
To live in the moment,
To say yes to more spontaneity with less caution (basically say yes more and no less)
The only person stopping me is ME
And by doing so I feel less anxious and stressed about a lot of situations and more adventurous and outgoing with life. Yeah there are times when I just want to curl up on the couch and watch Netflix all day but you know what you are allowed those days! Why? Because sometimes you just need to not stress about making the most of it, you need to be able to take a chill pill from the outside world and be a potato for a day. I have these days but I get restless after a while so that is why I either go for a walk or to the gym just to get some fresh air.
When I say Summer what does it remind you of? Now stay tuned for next weeks topic - list 5 things I like about me - gonna be tricky but I am sure I will manage to find a few things I am grateful about myself.
